Artist Statement

   I often find inspiration in nature, especially in things that people don’t always notice. My artwork explores time, how moments can feel short or long, and how the past connects to the future. I also think about life and how people are connected to the natural world. Some of my ideas come from Eastern philosophy. At times, I also use old stories and myths as part of my artwork, because I feel they carry deep meaning and wisdom that still speak to us today.

   When creating my work, I choose the best way to show my ideas. Sometimes I use painting, installation, printmaking, or other methods. My process may look simple, but I think carefully about each step. I often use stones in my work. I enjoy studying them. For me, stones carry natural energy. They help me express my thoughts and emotions. Using them feels like a small ritual, like a way to listen and respond to nature.

   Art is my way of speaking to the world and thinking quietly. I like to notice patterns in nature. Through my art, I want to share how I feel and what I learn from nature. One challenge I face is making my meaning clear, while still leaving space for viewers to feel and imagine their own ideas. I am now working on more artworks that explore nature, life, and simple but deep questions.
